Dr Rao Memorial Oration Award

It was a profound honour and privilege to deliver the 8th Dr. C. Subhakara Rao Memorial Oration yesterday at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on “Advances in Critical Care Pediatric Nephrology.”

Dr. Chinthapalli Subhakara Rao was a respected senior paediatrician, a pioneer of paediatrics in Andhra Pradesh, and a compassionate physician who devoted his life to his patients, the medical profession and society. His remarkable contributions to the IAP, IMA and medical education continue to inspire generations of doctors.

I remain deeply grateful to the IAP Krishna District Branch, Bezawada Medical Association and IMA Vijayawada for bestowing upon me the honour of delivering an oration instituted in the memory of such an eminent and beloved physician.
