Today’s NEJM has an excellent Original Article from Dr Goldstein’s group on Pediatric AKI- the results of the AWARE study. It also has an Editorial on it. Â This large, prospective, multinational study of the epidemiology of acute kidney injury in children and young adults in ICUs showed that acute kidney injury occurred in one quarter

An honor to host my mentor!
It was an honor to host my mentor, Dr Stanley Jordan, Director, Nephrology & Kidney Transplantation, Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, LA, CA, USA at our centre this month. He is an excellent mentor and a human being. Learnt a lot from him!
